Candidate Placement
Support
Helping local and foreign jobseekers find the right role in Singapore — with honest guidance, proper documentation and transparent placement from start to finish.
What This Service Covers
Finding the Right Role
with the Right Support
Looking for work in Singapore is not always straightforward — especially as a foreign worker. There are regulations to understand, documents to prepare and employers to match with, and candidates deserve to be treated as people rather than transactions.
Sky Employment Agency supports candidates through the full placement process — from understanding your background and skills, to matching you with suitable employers, to handling the work pass administration. We place local workers, foreign workers and domestic helpers.
Our placement process is transparent. We operate under MOM Comprehensive Licence 16C7980 and follow MOM's regulations on candidate fees, employment contracts and fair treatment — so you know what to expect before anything is signed.
Who We Support
Placement Support for Local and Foreign Candidates
Whether you are a foreign worker, a domestic helper or a local jobseeker in Singapore — we work with your background to find a placement that fits.
Foreign Workers
Skilled and semi-skilled workers looking for positions with Singapore employers. We match your trade, certifications and experience to a suitable role and handle the work pass administration.
Domestic Helpers
Domestic helpers seeking placement in Singapore households — including childcare, eldercare and general housekeeping roles. We match you with employers whose household needs fit your experience.
Local Jobseekers
Singapore-based candidates looking for their next role. We assess your profile and connect you with suitable employers across a range of industries.
"We tell candidates what to expect before they sign anything. A placement that starts with honest information lasts longer than one built on promises."— Sky Employment Agency
How We Support You
From Registration to First Day at Work
A clear, step-by-step process — so you always know where you are in your placement and what comes next.
Registration & Profile Assessment
We start by understanding your background — your work experience, trade skills or domestic work history, the type of role you are looking for, your expected salary and any constraints on your availability or location.
- Work history and skills documentation
- Role preferences and salary expectations
- Work pass type considerations
- Document checklist and readiness review
Job Matching & Employer Introduction
Using your profile, we identify employers whose requirements match your experience and expectations. We present your profile to suitable employers and arrange interviews or direct employer introductions where applicable.
- Matching to employer vacancies
- Profile presentation to interested employers
- Interview arrangement and preparation guidance
- Updates on your application status
Documentation & Work Pass Administration
Once an employer selects you, we handle the work pass administration and MOM-related paperwork — explaining each step, what is needed from you and what your employer is responsible for.
- Work pass application administration
- Employment contract explanation
- Required personal document preparation
- MOM submission process walkthrough
Placement & Settling-In Support
After you start work, we remain reachable. If you have a question in the first weeks — about your contract, your work pass or your working arrangements — you can contact our office during operating hours.
- A contact point after your placement
- General guidance on employment rights
- Help with work pass questions
- Signposting to MOM resources where needed
Know Before You Sign
Your Rights as a
Jobseeker in Singapore
Singapore law protects jobseekers and foreign workers from exploitative placement practices. As a licensed employment agency, Sky Employment Agency is legally bound to operate within these protections — and we believe every candidate should understand what they are entitled to before any agreement is signed.
This is general information only. For the most current rules on EA fees, contract requirements and your rights as a foreign worker in Singapore, refer to the MOM website directly.
MOM Jobseeker RightsEA Fee Cap
Employment agencies in Singapore are legally capped on how much they can charge candidates — generally no more than one month's salary for each year of the contract or work pass, up to a maximum of two months.
Clear Employment Terms
You should receive your key employment terms in writing — including your salary, duties and rest days — and have them explained to you before you start work.
Your Passport Stays With You
Your passport and personal identity documents belong to you. Employers and agencies should not keep them against your wishes.
Rest Days & Working Hours
Workers are entitled to rest days. Working hours and overtime entitlements depend on your role and the law that covers it, and should be reflected in your contract.
Medical Coverage
Employers are required to buy and maintain medical insurance for Work Permit holders, including domestic helpers. This cost should not be passed on to you.
Why Register With Us
What We Do Differently
Licensed & Accountable
We operate under EA Licence 16C7980 and are regulated by Singapore's Ministry of Manpower. You are not dealing with an informal middleman — you have legal protections when you work with a licensed agency.
Transparent About Fees and Terms
We explain our fees clearly before any agreement is made, so you know the cost of placement before you commit to anything.
Matched to Real Vacancies
We introduce candidates to employers with actual hiring needs, and match on your skills and experience rather than sending your profile everywhere.
Work Pass Handled for You
Work pass administration and MOM-related services are part of what we do, so the paperwork behind your placement is managed by people who deal with it every day.
