What This Service Covers

Finding the Right Helper
for Your Household

A domestic helper placement is not just a recruitment transaction. It involves bringing someone into your home — and that deserves real care.

Sky Employment Agency handles the placement of domestic helpers in Singapore households. We work with employers to understand the specific household needs — whether that is childcare, eldercare, general housekeeping or cooking — and look for candidates whose experience and expectations fit the role.

We also take care of the work pass administration and MOM-related paperwork, and guide you through requirements such as the Employer Orientation Programme (EOP) where applicable.

Types of Domestic Helpers

Helpers for Different Household Roles

Different households have different needs. Tell us what yours are — we will look for a candidate whose experience matches.

  • Infant care
  • School routines
  • Meal preparation
  • Child safety

Eldercare Helper

  • Mobility support
  • Medication reminders
  • Personal hygiene
  • Companionship

General Housekeeping

Handles general household duties — cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, cooking and maintaining the home day to day.

  • Cleaning & laundry
  • Cooking
  • Grocery management
  • Home organisation

The Process

How We Place Domestic Helpers

Every step is handled properly — from understanding your needs to the work pass paperwork and the helper's arrival.

Understanding Your Household

We start by understanding your household — the number of family members, ages of children or elderly, any specific care requirements, dietary needs, language preferences and the day-to-day duties you expect the helper to manage.

  • Household composition and size
  • Specific duties and daily schedule
  • Language and communication preferences
  • Childcare, eldercare or housekeeping focus

Candidate Matching & Shortlisting

Using your requirements, we identify suitable candidates and review their work history and skills before shortlisting. You receive a selection matched to your household — not a bulk list.

  • Relevant work experience
  • Skills that fit your household's needs
  • Language and compatibility
  • Document and eligibility checks

Work Pass & MOM Paperwork

Once you select a candidate, we handle the work pass administration and guide you through the required documentation — the work permit application, employment contract, security bond and insurance, and the Employer Orientation Programme (EOP) where required by MOM.

  • Work permit application administration
  • Employment contract preparation
  • Security bond and insurance coordination
  • Employer Orientation Programme (EOP) guidance

Placement & Settling-In Support

After the helper arrives, we remain reachable. If questions come up in the early weeks — and sometimes they do — you can contact our office during operating hours.

  • Arrival and handover support
  • A contact point after placement
  • Help with work pass questions
  • Guidance on MOM requirements

What Employers Should Know

Your Responsibilities
as a Helper's Employer

Hiring a migrant domestic worker in Singapore comes with legal obligations set by the Ministry of Manpower. We guide you through these — but it helps to understand them before you begin.

This information is provided for general awareness only. Always refer to the official MOM website for the most current requirements.

Read MOM Guidelines

Employment Contract

A written employment contract should set out duties, rest days, salary and other key terms.

Rest Days

Helpers are entitled to a weekly rest day. If a rest day is worked by mutual agreement, compensation must be given, subject to MOM's rules.

Medical Coverage

Employers must purchase medical insurance and personal accident insurance for the helper.

Employer Orientation Programme

First-time employers are required to complete the MOM Employer Orientation Programme (EOP) as part of the application.

Accommodation & Welfare

Adequate accommodation, meals and a safe living environment must be provided for the helper.

Why Choose Us

What We Do Differently

MOM Comprehensive Licence

We hold MOM Comprehensive Licence 16C7980. You are dealing with a properly licensed and regulated agency — not an unregistered middleman.

Ethical Placement Standards

We follow MOM's rules on agency fees. Fair treatment of helpers is non-negotiable — it is also what produces better long-term placements.

We Match, Not Just Send

We spend time understanding your household before shortlisting. A mismatch in the first month costs everyone — we work to prevent that from the start.

Work Pass Handled for You

Work pass administration and MOM-related services are part of what we do, so you do not have to manage the paperwork alone.
