What This Service Covers

Trade-Ready Workers
for Demanding Industries

Placing the right skilled or semi-skilled worker is not simply about filling a headcount. It requires understanding what a role actually demands on the ground.

Sky Employment Agency sources and places skilled and semi-skilled workers, local and foreign, for employers in Singapore. We work with you to understand your trade requirements — certifications, physical demands, equipment familiarity — and look for candidates whose experience fits.

For foreign workers, we also handle the work pass administration and MOM-related paperwork, in line with Work Permit conditions and the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (EFMA).

The Process

How We Place Skilled Workers

From your trade requirements to the work pass paperwork — each step handled properly so your team is ready when you need them.

Trade Requirement Briefing

We start by understanding exactly what the role demands — the sector, the trade skills required, any certifications needed, physical requirements, how long you need the workers and how many.

  • Sector and type of trade
  • Required certifications
  • Headcount and timeline
  • Physical and site-specific requirements

Sourcing & Screening

We source candidates and, before shortlisting, review their trade experience, work history and certifications. You receive screened profiles — not unscreened CVs.

  • Trade experience review
  • Work history review
  • Certification checks
  • Document and eligibility checks

Work Pass & MOM Documentation

Once candidates are confirmed, we handle the work pass administration for foreign workers and guide you through the MOM requirements that apply, such as quota and levy.

  • Work pass application administration
  • Guidance on quota requirements
  • Guidance on the foreign worker levy
  • Employment contract preparation

Deployment & Support

We support you through the worker's arrival and start. If a question comes up early on — and sometimes it does — you can contact our office directly.

  • Coordination up to the start date
  • Work pass issuance administration
  • A contact point after placement
  • Renewals and replacements when needed

What Employers Should Know

Your Responsibilities
as a Work Permit Employer

Hiring foreign workers on Work Permits in Singapore carries legal obligations under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act. We guide you through these — but understanding them upfront makes the process faster.

This information is provided for general awareness only. Always refer to the official MOM website for the most current requirements.

Read MOM Work Permit Guidelines

Employment Terms

Workers should receive their key employment terms in writing, covering duties, salary, rest days and working conditions.

Acceptable Accommodation

Employers must ensure foreign workers have housing that meets MOM's accommodation requirements.

Medical Coverage

Employers must buy and maintain medical insurance for each Work Permit holder, at or above the minimum coverage MOM requires.

Foreign Worker Levy

Employers pay a monthly levy for each Work Permit holder. The rate depends on the sector and the worker's qualifications and skill level.

Foreign Worker Quota

The number of Work Permit holders you can hire is limited as a proportion of your total workforce, under sector-specific quota rules.

Why Choose Us

What We Do Differently

MOM Comprehensive Licence

We hold MOM Comprehensive Licence 16C7980. You are working with a licensed, regulated agency that deals with work pass matters as part of its everyday work.

We Look at Skills, Not Just CVs

We review a candidate's actual work history before presenting them. A CV that lists skills is not the same as a worker who has used them on the job.

One Worker or Several

Whether you need two workers or twenty, we aim to give every candidate the same screening. For repeat hiring, you deal with an agency that already knows your requirements.

Work Pass Administration Included

Work pass administration and MOM-related services are part of what we do, so recruitment and paperwork are handled by the same agency.
